The PTS Science exam is a specialized assessment designed for students in different classes. Students in classes 5th to 9th take the exam with 45 questions, while students in classes 10th to 12th take the exam with 55 questions. It evaluates students' understanding of scientific concepts, reasoning abilities, and application of knowledge. Any student currently studying in these classes can register and participate in the examination.

The PTS Science exam has different question counts based on class level. For classes 6-9, the exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), while for classes 10-12, there are 60 MCQs. The duration is 50 minutes for both categories, and students need to answer all questions within the allocated time. The exam is conducted in both online and offline modes depending on your preference and availability.

The registration fee is ₹120 per student, which is mandatory for all participants. This fee covers your examination enrollment, participation certificate, and eligibility for awards. Additionally, optional study material is available for ₹210 to help you prepare better for the exam.

The PTS Science exam covers a comprehensive range of scientific topics including physics (light, electricity, motion, energy), chemistry (materials, acids-bases, chemical changes), biology (living world, respiration, reproduction, nutrition), environmental science, and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) based questions.

PTS recognizes excellence at three levels. At School Level, top performers receive cash prizes (₹1,500, ₹1,000, ₹500 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd rank), medals, gifts worth ₹900, and certificates. Note: Minimum 100 students are required from a school for School Level awards. At Mandal Level, winners get higher cash prizes (up to ₹4,100 for 1st rank). National level winners receive prestigious awards up to ₹30,000 for 1st rank, along with medals, certificates, and gifts.
